What a super freaking great ride this has been. We—Valentin and Ryan—want to thank you so much for reading our little book, for the support, for helping to spread the word, and for your kind words. Everyone who’s reached out to us after reading has been wonderful, and our hearts have grown quite full and fond of you.
We’d also like to acknowledge and thank Allison Baker and Chris Roberson of Monkeybrain Comics for making D4VE possible, and for being so kind, helpful, supportive, encouraging, and just genuinely amazing human beings—not to mention what they are doing with Monkeybrain is important. We are in an astounding time for creator-owned, independent comics, and Allison and Chris are giving passionate creators—many of whom are unknown names, like Team D4VE—a chance to have their work seen. That is invaluable and, like I mentioned before, really important. I implore you to explore and follow Monkeybrain comics, and its creators. So yeah. Huge thanks to Monkeybrain for givin’ us the opportunity. For us, it is monumental.
Anyways, enough rambling. We sincerely hope you enjoy D4VE #5. We at Team D4VE are proud as hell of it. Go now and read the issue.
This here blog will continue to be updated on the regular, with lots and lots of cool stuff, so don’t nobody go nowhere. Also, we suspect this won’t be the last you see of these five issues of D4VE, ifyknowdamean…
D4VE! D4VE is goddamn great and my two current regrets surrounding it are that it took me until last week to catch up on it and now it’s ending. It’s only 99 cents and only 5 issues long, that’s less than 5 bucks for so much quality it hurts. D4VE!
